My Dream

I dream of a world where girls are not murdered at birth.

I dream of a world where no one knows the meaning of dowry.

I dream of a world where the price of a bride cannot be expressed in goods.

I dream of a world where education is available to all.

I dream of a world where there are no gender stereotypes.

I dream of a world where women are treated as human beings.

I dream of a world where there is no need for women to have a special day because they are treated equally in every way.

Hi Irene, This post is truly beautiful. I reckon much have changed. You know, once I was at the airport in Frankfurt waiting for my flight home on Christmas eve. I was totally surprised to hear that men were allowed to board the plane first, I stood still for a moment. Then, a lady told me, “You’re a gentleman, you get in first.” This is something I did not expect. Not sure if they are still doing that. Happy weekend.!!!

    • Thanks Michael. šŸ™‚ It is really strange and I am glad to say that it is no longer the case in Frankfurt. I do not know, if there is a difference between the airlines. Although I have flown with Emirates, Malaysian Airlines, Singapore Airlines and Lufthansa, etc from Frankfurt and its business class passengers first, followed by families with children and then the rest of the economy class passengers.
Happy weekend to you too! šŸ™‚
