Let’s take a dip to cool off before food.
My Blackberry vibrated.
Please don’t! You promised today would be just for us.
I apologised to her but answered the call. My secretary said that I was urgently needed back in the office.
I’ll walk back after lunch. Alone. Again.
I sit down on the grassy bank. I feel the morning dew seeping through my jeans. I watch the sun rise.
Its orangey rays illuminate the mist covered fields. But they are not strong enough to chase away the chill within me. Last night she told me she wants a divorce.
I am sorry
For all the times I broke my word
For all the pain I caused your heart
For all the sleepless nights due to hurt
For all the missed moments to make things right
I am sorry
I have said it too many times before
Time has revealed the shallowness of my apology
You won’t believe me when I say it once more
It seems our love is heading for its final eulogy
I am sorry
I took your love for granted
But it’s easy to go save the world
When your arms are always extended
To pull me out when I am lost in a whirl
I am sorry
You trust me no longer
I have used up your good faith
My desire to live has become shorter
As none can replace you as my mate
I am sorry I destroyed our love
A love destined to be epic
There was once a man in paradise
Who could not believe the scene before his eyes Continue reading
If you had the choice, like Bella Swan did in the Twilight series, would you choose to remain a mortal or become an immortal? The decision was easy for Bella. My condolences to the family of Whitney Houston.
I vividly remember sitting in front of the TV, watching The Bodyguard. Her supposedly terrible acting skills did not bother the teenager me. In fact I thought the movie was great and learned of the singer Whitney Houston for the first time. How often have I tried singing the karaoke version of the song I will always love you! But her powerful voice and musical talent cannot be simply copied. Continue reading
Today we took a long walk partly along a river and partly through snow covered fields, forests and picturesque villages. It was freezing cold, about -10°C but I was dressed right for the weather because even my toes were warm during the walk. The serenity of our surroundings was disrupted by the ringing of a mobile phone. It was Mr. M’s and it was a call from someone at work. This brings me back to yesterday’s topic. Who is responsible for making our lives less stressful? Continue reading
You see you in my eyes
I won’t live with more lies
Ere I shed another tear
I am getting out of here
All along I thought it was me
But that was wrong as wrong can be
The time has come to hit the road
No last kiss for my prince, the toad Continue reading
